BornShorts submissions to close soon

BornShorts is still accepting submissions in the following categories: Narrative Fiction; Animation; Documentary Film; Fashion Film; Experimental Film; Children’s Film; Music Video; Performance/Live Art; and Student Film. All the submitted work must be made between 2013 and 2014. First Deadline 5 July; Late Deadline 6 July; Final Deadline 15 July.

BornShorts Film Festival is dedicated to celebrating the wonderful world of short filmmaking. Taking place annually on the picturesque Baltic island of Bornholm, Denmark, this year’s edition of the festival will take place from 11 to 14 September 2014. Every year BornShorts invites individuals from the European film and audio-visual industry to judge the nominated shorts.

Dougal Wilson will be on the panel of judges at this year’s BornShorts Film Festival. A commercials and music video director, Wilson has won numerous awards for his work, which includes adverts for John Lewis, Ikea and Renault. All awards will be announced on the evening of 14th of September at the Cassiopeia Cinema in Svaneke, Bornholm. 

The nominees and full festival line-up will be announced at the end of July.
