The Locarno Film Festival unveils its short film programme

The line-up of the upcoming edition of the Locarno Film Festival (August 6-16) has been announced on July 16th.

Besides the high number of long feature films presented in the various sections, at Locarno big space is also given to short films. The Pardi di domani competition indeed presents short and medium-length films made by young independent directors or film school students who have not yet completed their first full-length feature. The sidebar includes two distinct competitions: one reserved for recent Swiss productions, the other open to international entries for films from around the globe.

The Jury of the Pardi di domani is composed by Dutch actor Rutger Hauer(President), Brazilian Director Helvécio Marins Jr., Spanish Director 
Lois Patiño, Ukrainian Director 
Myroslav Slaboshpytskiy and Swiss Director Nicole Vögele.
