European Short Pitch concludes in Luxembourg
This weekend the 9th annual European Short Pitch competition came to a conclusion. In the presence of Norbert Laporte from, Film Fund Luxembourg and Marie-Anne Theriez from Espera Prod, the awards for Best Pitch and Post-production were handed out at the closing ceremony. The 2015 ESP was attended by 50 producers from across Europe.
The winners were:
The Best Pitch Award by FILM FUND LUXEMBOURG
The Family Who Hid in the Cellar by Ayshea Halliwell and Miha Manea (Luxembourg); 1.000 euro cash.
Requiem for Laika by Gorana Jovanovic (Serbia); 1.000 euro cash.
The Baby Shower by Joseph Pierce (UK); 1.000 euro cash.
Postproduction awards by ESPERA PROD
Ice by Anna Hints (Estonia); 10.000 euro in kind.
Bonjour, je suis Antek by Daria Woszek (dir.), Vincent Potocki (script.) and Marta Lachacz (prod.) (Poland); 3.500 euro in kind.
Next year will be a special edition for European Short Pitch as it celebrates a decade discovering and helping emerging European talents. The call for projects for ESP 2016 will open in the beginning of this summer.
