European Film Academy announce full short nominees list for 2015 EFAs
The European Film Academy and EFA Productions have announced the full line up for this year's short film nominations at the European Film Awards.
At 15 participating film festivals, an independent jury presented one European short film in competition with a nomination in the short film category of the European Film Awards. The final list of 15 films is an intriguing snapshot of the current state of European short filmmaking with a diverse range of films and styles. They include the tense and powerful Listen (Dirs. Hamy Ramezan & Rungano Nyon, Finland), a story of clashing cultures and and inability to communciate, and the brillinatly evocative and surreal Washingtonia (Dir. Konstantina Kotzamani, Greece).

The nominated films will soon be submitted to the more than 3,000 EFA Members to elect the winner. The European Short Film 2015 will then be presented at the European Film Awards Ceremony in Berlin on Saturday, 12 December - streamed live on the awards’ website.
