Liz Harkman joins short selection committee of Locarno

The Locarno Film Festival will welcome Liz Harkman as a member of its Pardi di domani selection committee. She will be joining Gonzalo De Pedro Amatria and Bruno Quiblier in the team headed by Alessandro Marcionni. The committee will be supporting the Artistic Direction in the selection process of short films for both its national and international Pardi di domani competitions.

Liz has worked in the UK film industry for over 15 years starting out with roles in national institutions such as the British Film Institute and the UK Film Council. She has worked with the London Film Festival, Flickerfest Short Film Festival in Australia, Edinburgh International Film Festival, Animated Exeter and was the Managing Director for Encounters Short Film Festival for 5 years. Liz also works as a Freelance Project Manager with a number of film and cultural organizations in Bristol, UK where she is based with her husband and 18 month old son.

Liz Harkman will take over the position previously occupied by Sylke Gottlebe.
